Pembroke weekend September '08
A favourite with the members, we enjoyed the luxurious accomodation at the Silverdale Lodge. An unbelievable visibility of 10 metres astounded the expedition members. Neil said his view of UK diving was completely changed by the trip.
Steve Copley is a conniseur of fine wines and demonstrated his knowledge at the "Silverdale Lodge".
The quality of accomadation was second to none. Certainly none that we had ever seen before.
MV Seahorse liveaboard Fethiye, Turkey October '08
We returned the the hosptality of the MV Seahorse with skipper Mehmet. The water temperature and visibilty surpassed that of even South Wales and a great time was had by all.
WBSAC AGM 30th January 09
We dined well at the Ship in Wandsworth and plotted expeditions for the coming year.

Summary of minutes
The boat floats and and goes well although poor weather of 2008 meant limited use.
Steve Copley's proposal to sell the boat in order to buy gin and whiskey was rejected.
The Diving Officer happily reported no incidents, injuries or bends.
Martin also congratulated members for their exemplary diving practices.
The Cape Verde Islands were mooted as an alternative to the Canaries for the
Spring.
Neil thanked the members for their enthusiasm and dedication in the past year.
RIB diving will be promoted by a regular date.
The Scylla will be dived with the RIB on a long weekend.
A return to the MV seahorse in Fethiye was well supported.
